Rapids Swim Team: This is both recreational and competitive swimming with practice over the summer. A great activity if you’re in town over the season. Practice is 5 days a week in the mornings with a Friday evening swim as well. Registration starts in the spring.
The Adams AC Pop Warner Football & Cheerleading, has events in Sabella Park on Cozzens Lane. There is also Lacrosse played on the field. Having undergone renovations within the last 5 years, the park now has ample parking and other amenities to transform what was once a grassy muddy field into a great multipurpose location.
The North Brunswick Baseball & Softball Association, has its heart in the right place with their mission statement. “The objective of the NBBSA shall be to implant firmly in the boys & girls of our program, the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, & a respect for authority. In this way, they may be well-adjusted, stronger & happier boys and girls, to grow to be decent, healthy, trustworthy adults.” It’s not about winning. And it’s about so much more than how you play the game – these folks are out to help children play the game of life.
