Great Music. A free concert. A beautiful park. Food trucks. Craft beer. Wine. A pair of great performing female singer/songwriters. Sounds like music to the ears of anyone ready to enjoy a beautiful summer night!

Woodbridge based tenants at Fox Hill RunForest View, Evergreen East, Evergreen Forest and Cloverleaf Gardens can indulge in the kind of summer day we’ve been waiting for all year. You know, that kind of kick-back-enjoy-the-evening-outdoors summer as the music swirls thru the air. Woodbridge High School will be hosting on it’s lawn a socially distanced ‘Woodbridge Wednesdays’ free concert on August 12, @ 7:30pm.   Headliner Susan Werner has the creative bona fides worth your attention; After writing twelve albums of songs in styles ranging from folk/rock to Tin Pan Alley to gospel, country and chamber music, what might a woman deemed by National Public Radio as “The Empress of the Unexpected” try next? And as audiences will testify, Susan Werners been knocking it out of the park – or concert hall – all around the US for twenty years.  Renowned as a charismatic performer, she’s known above all for challenging herself to conquer new styles, almost like mountaintops, every few years.

A prolific songwriter, Emily Huff paints vivid aural pictures: songs packed with memorable, inventive lyrics like God’s diner, where the faithful are served ‘fresh coffee and eggs all day’ while a celestial pedal steel serenades the diners. I’ve seen her perform at NYC after-hours places and she’s got it!

Free parking is available in the high school parking lots.
