While we demonstrated our way thru the protest songs of the 1960’s, discovered alternative, new wave and punk in the 1970’s, the 1980’s put the beat back into the groove and led us to the dance floor to do what we came here for in the first place…to dance the night away! 

Woodbridge residents at Fox Hill Run,  Forest View, Evergreen East, Evergreen Forest, Woodbridge Village, Green Plaza, Woodbridge Terrace, Gill Lane,Woodbridge Center Plaza and Cloverleaf Gardens can shake it up like they used to when the Carteret Performing Arts and Events Center presents it’s 80’s REVOLUTION & DANCE PARTY on Friday, March 24 @ 8pm. 

To get you and your friends into the mood once again, the crew at CPAC is going to transform it’s celebrated theater space into – you guessed it – a 1980’s dance club! The event organizers state that “No detail is missed, from the neon to the leg warmers, 80’s Revolution takes you back in time, when Pat Benatar, Def Leppard, Journey, The Outfield, Michael Jackson, ABBA, Loverboy, Cindi Lauper, Rick James, Madonna and Van Halen ruled the airwaves. From Dance Pop to New Wave to Hair Band Rock, 80’s Revolution delivers it all!”
