One of the great things about living in New Jersey is access to New York City’s incredible art and theater. But you don’t need to cross a river to catch incredible performances — you can see them right here at home.
On July 20-24th, the Woodbridge Community Youth Players will be performing Elton John and Tim Rice’s Aida, an epic story of love, war and power that is sure to move audiences. In it, an enslaved Nubian princess, an Egyptian princess and a soldier find themselves in a love triangle and are forced to navigate high-stakes heartbreak and destiny as the fates of their nations rest in the balance.
The Woodbridge Community Youth Players is a local theater organization that exists to provide opportunities for Woodbridge youth (aged 14-25) to perform and develop their talents. Founded in 2007, the nonprofit has been hosting productions at the Hungarian American Club since 2010. Aida will be taking place at the Woodbridge Middle School Theater.
