In Woodbridge Township’s historic Barron Library building sits the Barron Arts Center. Offering concerts, lecture series, gallery art, poetry and more, it serves as a cultural center for Woodbridge and Middlesex County. Every season, the center presents cultural offerings to enrich life for local residents.
This season, visitors can look forward to the All Seasons Chamber Players, bringing together harpsichord, flute and string to play music from the 18th century and today, and coming to the center on February 13th.
Interested in local history? On April 22nd, author Kevin Woyce will lecture on the history of the Jersey Shore, complete with pirates and shipwrecks, as part of the Dr. Stephen Kaplan “A Taste of the Arts” lecture series. In another installment of the series, to be held on March 25th, historian Kate Butler will share the fascinating history of the swimsuit.
