This month, the town of Willingboro is going to see “a reunion of all reunions.” It’s the 30th anniversary of the Willingboro Jazz and Music Festival, hosted by the Willingboro Recreation and Parks Department, and this year, the town is pulling out all the stops.
On Sunday, August 18th, join thousands of guests — including both visitors and residents new and old — to see the best in jazz, gospel, R&B and old school hip-hop. Special guest performing at this year’s festival include Jeff Bradshaw, Doug E. Fresh, Roy Ayers, Breakwater, Trevor, Arpeggio, Everyday People, Clintron, Ugo and more. This year, you can also visit the second stage to see independent artists and musicians show off their talents.
Set in beautiful, green Millcreek Park, this festival follows a long tradition of great music and community in Burlington County. Founded in the early 1980s by saxophonist Billy Keil and trumpeter Bill O’Connell, the jazz fest has evolved over the years, bringing famous musicians like the Mingus Big Band and Charles Fambrough to grace the town stage.
