Where can Central Jersey residents find fresh strawberries, free-range eggs, organic tea, grass-fed beef, scrumptious chicken pot pie and more? Now in its 7th year, the West Windsor farmers’ market offers a vast range of fresh, delicious foods every Saturday from 9am to 1pm in the Vaughn Drive Parking Lot at Princeton Junction Train Station.

From the beginning of May until the end of October, farmers’ market patrons enjoy the goods supplied by farm and non-farm vendors alike. In addition to local tomatoes, spinach and corn, market-goers can enjoy a world of prepared foods. Searching for meats, poultry and cheeses? Try Cherry Grove Organic Farm and Griggstown Quail Farm. Looking for baked goods? Visit the Blue Rooster Bakery and Cafe, Catherine’s Vegan Sweets, and Village Bakery. With 20 regular vendors at the market, you’re sure to find some unexpected treats along the way.

In addition, the farmers’ market sponsors musical acts and community activities. On June 12th, visitors can look forward to the “Simple, Fresh and Local” cooking demonstration at 11am, music by the WWHS Steel Band and the Nonets, and massages from The Touch That Heals. Also at the market will be a medical supplies donation drive, a bike drive sponsored by the Boys and Girls Club of Trenton, and Yes We CAN! food drive-so bring any donations you might have this coming Saturday!
