With next Tuesday rapidly approaching, so does a historic presidential election. Due to COVID-19, this year voting in the Garden State is taking place mostly via mail-in ballot. If you’re a registered New Jersey voter, you should have received a ballot by mail, and can still drop off your completed ballot in one of four ways:

  1. By mail. Mailed in ballots must be postmarked on or before November 3rd and received by your county’s Board of Elections on or before November 10th.

  2. Through a secure drop box in your county. Drop-off must occur by 8pm on November 3rd.

  3. To your county’s Board of Elections Office. Drop-off must occur by 8pm on November 3rd.

  4. At your polling place. Drop-off must occur by 8pm on November 3rd.

Select polling places will be open for in-person voting, where all voting will take place via provisional ballot. To find your polling place, visit the NJ Division of Elections online.

This year, New Jersey is doing what it can to make sure its residents can participate in our democracy by voting while staying safe, healthy and socially distanced.
