The Union County Performing Arts Center (UCPAC) sits on Irving Street in Rahway, NJ: a rehabilitated old theater that’s been a city mainstay since it was first built in 1928. Today, it marks the heart of the Rahway arts district, hosting a range of performances and serving as a pillar for the local artistic community.
This season, look forward to comedy, nature, musical theater and more. On March 12th, the Mainstage Cafe will be hosting “Cracking Up in Rahway,” a night of sketch comedy, improv shows, and more — all sure to produce side-splitting laughter. Then, on March 16th, the UCPAC’s Hamilton Stage will be the venue for Nature Talks by Brent Nixon, a free-of-charge, in-depth look at humpback whales presented by the Rahway Chamber of Commerce and TD Bank. That same day marks the opening of “Bring it On: The Musical,” an entertaining bit of musical theater running on the UCPAC Mainstage through March 18th.
