With Memorial Day around the corner, you might be thinking about how you can stay active and outdoors this summer. In West Windsor, opportunities abound — from the WaterWorks Aquatic Center to youth and adult seasonal programming. The West Windsor WaterWorks Family Aquatic Center serves as the center for community life throughout the warm months, with an 8-lane 25-meter lap pool, a 9,000 square foot leisure pool, a 1,700 square foot wading pool, a 2-story water slide, basketball courts, a children’s play area, a Rec Deck, a full-service concession stand and more. With swimming lessons, adult lap swimming, and a youth swim and dive team all taking advantage of these facilities, you’re bound to encounter friends and neighbors from across the community at the WaterWorks.
Prefer staying on dry land? Check out some of the classes on offer from West Windsor Recreation and Parks. This summer, adults can sign up for classes in activities as wide-ranging as golf, martial arts, tennis, and volleyball, while youth can take part in sports like basketball, lacrosse, cricket, cheerleading, diving and many more.
