The heat may already upon us, but the Borough of Carteret’s got a cool summer line-up sure to keep you feeling refreshed. Carteret Arts has a number of exciting series to look forward to this summer: from Coffee House open mic nights, starting Friday, June 10th, to Concerts at Carteret Park and Concerts by the Bay, kicking off in July, residents will have plenty of opportunities to sit back and relax, get up and dance, or get creative and perform–all before fall rolls around.

Among this summer’s highlights is bound to be Concerts by the Bay, Carteret’s annual waterfront concert series, presented by the Carteret Business Partnership, Inc. Held at 7pm on Sundays starting July 10th, this tribute-filled series is the perfect way to enjoy Carteret’s picturesque and recently-restored waterfront–all while bopping away to doo-wop, oldies, rock n’ roll and more!

For more musical fun, hop on over to the bandstand/gazebo at Carteret Park for Concerts at Carteret Park, located at Carteret Avenue and Cypress Street. Held on Friday nights from 7-9pm, the series features local acts doing what they do best: entertaining crowds with their funky tunes.

For a more interactive take on Friday night fun, check out the Carteret Coffee House, held in the Carteret Library, located at 100 Cooke Avenue. Providing an opportunity for local musicians, poets, dancers, and performers of all stripes to show their stuff, it’s the perfect opportunity to try out your talents and see what your friends and neighbors have in store.

This June, July and August, Middlesex County will be filled with music and entertainment–check out the waterfront, the park or the coffee house and get a taste of Carteret summer! BestRentNJ.com rental apartments located in Carteret include Meridian TerraceCarteret Gardens and Meridian Square.
