Ready to enjoy the sounds of summer in Piscataway Township? This week marks the beginning of Piscataway’s Concert in the Park series, an opportunity to enjoy music and the beauty of Columbus Park while the days are nice and long.
On Thursdays from July 5th through August 30th, gather at the Columbus Park extension gazebo for a range of musical flavors. The series kicks off with a performance by Jim Barone, an Elvis Presley tribute artist. Over the course of the following weeks, the gazebo will be played by the likes of David Cedeno, a salsa performer; the Guthrie Brothers, playing the songs of Simon & Garfunkel; Hunter Hayes, bringing R & B; Verdict playing Caribbean music; plus tributes to Johnny Cash, John Mellencamp, soul, the 50s and 60s and more. Concerts begin at 7pm, and will take place at the Piscataway Senior Center in the event of rain.
