As St. Patrick’s Day approaches, townships throughout New Jersey and beyond prepare to celebrate Irish culture and enjoy the merriment of the day. In Secaucus, this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration is a two-day affair, bringing together residents of all ages.
On March 11th and 12th, residents are invited to head to Paterson Plank Road and Wilson Avenue for an event filled with activities, giveaways and entertainment. Attendees can look forward to food trucks, live music, a beer garden, ice skating, Irish dancers and more. For those looking for to make some memories, the event offers the opportunity to meet some favorite fictional characters: the NJ Devils Mascot and Shrek and Fiona.
To top it all off, this year’s celebration is performing double duty, also serving as the 50th anniversary of Charlie’s Corner. An old standby local bar beloved by residents and visitors alike, Charlie’s Corner is located at 1254 Paterson Plank Road in Secaucus.
