The show must go on! And it does, at the Kelsey Theatre at Mercer County Community College. Home to a student company, plus 12 community and semi-professional companies, a dance ensemble and a symphony band, the Kelsey Theatre exposes and entertains, with a range of cultural and expressive opportunities for theatre-goers and performers alike.
This month offers a host of entertainment options. From April 13th-15, the MCCC Theatre and Dance Program and Entertainment Technology Students present the dance-and-integration filled Hairspray. Then, Playful Theatre Productions will show audiences what it’s like to put it all on the line with A Chorus Line, from from April 27th-May 6th. For more family-targeted fare, check out Goldilocks and the 3 Bears or Skippyjon Jones, both coming this May.
As summer rolls around, the theatre will continue to heat up. With Bye, Bye Birdie; A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Nunsense and more, Kelsey Theatre offers tons of opportunities to be entertained this season.
