Since 1998, the Monroe Township Cultural Arts Commission has brought cultural programming and activities to its Middlesex County community — from art and music to literature and dance.
This spring, look forward to a host of performances and other events in the township. On Sunday, April 30th, the Richard P. Marasco Center for the Performing Arts will be hosting a concert by “Tusk,” billed as “The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute,” evoking the sounds of your favorite rock band. Next month, look forward to the high arts: on Monday, May 8th, head to the Monroe Township Library for a free chamber music performance of Red Trees, Wrinkled Cliffs by an accomplished string ensemble. Then, on Saturday May 13th, the Bravura Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing Beethoven’s Leonore Overture No. 3 and SiCong Ma’s The Mongolian Dance.
