He shoots, he scores! Since opening night on March 20th, 2010, when the New York Red Bulls defeated Brazil’s Santo FC in a 3-1 victory, Red Bull Arena has been the soccer capital of New Jersey. Since then, Red Bull Arena has hosted concerts, a Major League Soccer All-Star Game, the United States Men’s soccer team, the semifinals and championship match of the 2011 Big East Conference Men’s Soccer Tournament and more. The Red Bulls were born in 1996 as the New York/New Jersey MetroStars, one of the founding MLS teams.
