“It’s a Thierry Mugler,” my wife said as she gave me a first preview of her new dress back in the early 1980’s. 

It looked like something out of a science fiction B movie and it nearly broke the bank but wow, I LOVED it! Sculpted with accented shoulders and lines that complimented her form, my approval initiated her “Mugler” phase which she assured me would one day be collected because it was so rad. How right she was! 

It would be hard to describe life back then in the 1980’s when tube-driven stereos from Montclair NJ to SoHo NYC didn’t stop playing music by Culture Club, WHAM, The Thompson Twins & Prince…it would however be easier to envision if BestrentNJ.com Secaucus residents at RVR, Helix at Xchange and Next at Xchange, got  right in on the ground floor by attending the TOTALLY RAD VINTAGE FEST on 1/17 & 1/18 at the Meadowland Exposition Center from 10am-5pm.
