In December of 2003, the Frank R. Lautenberg Secaucus Junction Rail Station opened, linking passengers from eight different NJ Transit train lines, and shortening commute times to New York City for many New Jersey residents. In June of 2009, a parking lot was built at the station, facilitating day commuters” journeys to and from the station. Slowly but surely, Secaucus Junction is becoming a prime hub for getting to and from Midtown Manhattan: journeys from Secaucus Junction to New York Penn Station hover around the 14-minute mark.
But the people most set to benefit from Secaucus Junction have only recently started to arrive.
Since the first building of Xchange at Secaucus Junction opened in July 2008, residents have enjoyed the benefits of living just a short walk or shuttle ride away from the train station. A unique community located off of Exit 15x on the NJ Turnpike, Xchange offers a host of amenities: along with its fitness center, on-site convenience store, and residents” lounge, close proximity to Secaucus Junction is just another one of the many conveniences offered at Xchange.
On February 5th, Xchange began leasing units of its second building, set for an April 1st move-in date. For more information, visit www.XchangeNJ.com.
