Last week, New Jersey was hit with a storm to rival all storms. Hurricane Sandy crashed into the Jersey shore on Monday, October 29th, bringing strong winds, heavy rains, and devastation to those living in coastal areas. Throughout the rest of the region, power outages and gas shortages created one of the hardest weeks this state has seen.
But, in a show of tremendous solidarity, resilience and community, New Jersey residents young and old, near and far, have come out to help their neighbors and fellow Jerseyans. Those in spared areas have gone to volunteer their time in locations hardest-hit; people have donated food, supplies and time to those who lost their homes or suffered great damage. It’s been a difficult but inspiring week—BestRentNJ.com has been helping support local charities in the communities where we do business, and we’ve been touched by the kindness and generosity of those with whom we’ve come into contact.
We hope that you and your families are safe, healthy and warm. Now, more than ever, we all need to reach out and do what we can to support one another. Now, more than ever, we are proud to call ourselves New Jerseyans.
Our call center continues to be open M-F 8am-5pm for residents. If you call after hours, please leave a message and somebody will get back to you during the next business day.
