When Old Bridge residents run this Saturday, they’ll be doing more than just getting a workout. They’ll be participating in “the world’s largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer.” On Saturday, June 20th, teams of Old Bridge residents will gather at Lombardi Field at Carl Sandburg Middle School to participate in “Relay for Life,” the American Cancer Society’s event bringing together communities from around the world to commemorate those who have been lost to cancer and support those fighting it today.
