Downtown Rahway is a bustling place. And in a couple weeks, it will bustle just a little more than usual. That’s because September 22nd marks the 2018 Rahway Culture Crawl — a day of arts, culture and music.
This free one-day street festival brings offers displays of all kinds, from live performances to interactive art to video, film, sculpture, audio installations, spoken word and more. Plus, there will be opportunities to purchase work from a range of eclectic vendors. This year’s event promises to have over 60 open venues displaying work, plus over 100 art exhibits and performances.
Those with a competitive edge can look forward to the 8th annual Amazing Rahway Race, held from 1-6pm during the Culture Crawl. Teams of 2-4 are invited to dress in wacky costumes, solve some puzzles and race around town for a scavenger hunt they won’t soon forget.
