After two long years filled with virtual events and outdoor art displays, live music and poetry, Rahway’s annual Culture Crawl Festival returns this fall to its familiar form: a one-day exploration of all things arts, culture, dance and music. Last year’s event was cancelled due to COVID-19, and this year, the celebration is coming back with a fitting theme “Emerge.”

On Saturday, September 25th from 1 to 6pm, head to downtown Rahway for a range of offerings from performers, artists and vendors, as well as the Emerge Art Contest, showcasing creative works from the community. During the event, downtown gets divided up into zones featuring different forms of creativity, including dancers, musicians, filmmakers and more, all showcasing their work and talents. Past years’ crawls have included a wine garden, dance festival, pop-up dog park, main street parties, a footrace and more. Visit the Cultural Crawl website closer to the event to see what this year’s lineup has in store.

Please note: due to pandemic safety protocols, the event will only be held weather permitting.
