On your mark, get set, go! On Saturday, May 5th, Rahway residents will put their sleuthiest selves to the test as part of a scavenger hunt around the city.
It’s the Second Annual Race Around Rahway, and teams dressed in wacky and/or themed costumes will be racing against the clock–and each other–as they try to complete all the tasks. Starting at 11:00am, teams will be set into motion, deciphering clues, snapping shots of what they find or do, and trying to make it back to the finish line before any of the others.
Race Around Rahway is a surefire way to get enjoy some healthy competition and have some serious fun. While only the fastest, most cunning and perhaps luckiest of teams can claim the official prize, everyone who participates is sure to come out a winner. This family-friendly event will raise money for the “Friends of Rahway Public Library,” supporting the library via fundraising and volunteer efforts.
