As summer winds down, the fun is only just getting into gear in Perth Amboy. With two great township events coming up in the next month, residents of the City by the Bay still have plenty of opportunity to enjoy long days, warm weather, and community spirit.
On Saturday, August 20th, look forward to Perth Amboy Family Day. From 11am through 2pm, this event will bring entertainment, treats, rides and more to the Sadowski Parkway waterfront. Still a young township tradition, this is only the third installation of Family Day–offered free to all Perth Amboy residents. Bring out your loved ones and enjoy all the fun of summer in your town!
If you prefer another speed, get revved up for the Bay City Car Extravaganza, to be held from 1pm through 5pm on Saturday, September 10th. Held by the Perth Amboy Business Improvement District, along with the Perth Amboy Recreation Department and the Raritan Bay Cruisers, the extravaganza will include food, live music, a DJ and, of course, automobiles galore–this year, cars will compete for 25 trophies. Sure to get your motor running, the Bay City Car Extravaganza will be held on High Street between Smith and Market Streets.
