Greek culture is known for its delicious cuisine, waterfront lifestyle and lively music and dancing. This June, Perth Amboy, NJ will be home to the 2016 Greek Festival by the Bay — bringing a taste of life in Greece right here to central Jersey.
On June 3rd-5th, head toward St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church for three days of food, music, dancing and more. Look forward to all-day live entertainment and a grand raffle drawing, plus Greek culinary favorites including souvlaki, spanakopita, dolmades, moussaka, gyros, baklava and more. In terms of performance, attendees will have the chance to take in the sounds of a bouzouki player, performing all weekend, plus moves from St. Demetrios community dancers and tutorials in Greek dance style.
The event will be held from 11am-11pm on Friday and Saturday, and 12pm-7pm on Sunday.
