Even in this hot, hot heat, there’s a lot to do both in and outside in Secaucus, New Jersey this August. Whether hanging out at the pool, taking part in an ice cream party or taking in a summer concert, there’s much to keep you and your family entertained and beating the heat.
For the movie lovers in town, Secaucus offers “Movies in the Park,” hosted in Buchmuller Park. All summer long on Tuesday evenings, the park has been home to movie screenings fit for the whole family. Films have included such favorites as Norm of the North, Big Hero 6, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Still to come are Brave, happening on August 16th, Zooptopia on August 23rd and Minions on August 30th, all taking place at Buchmuller Park. For those who can’t get enough, the township is hosting a few bonus screenings at other locations in town, Xchange and Laurel Hill Park. Look forward to Pan, screening at Xchange on September 3rd and Rocky, taking place at Laurel Hill Park on August 24th.
All film screenings kick off at 8:30pm. Bring your blanket, bring some snacks and take in the end-of-summer magic!
