On your mark, get set, go! On Monday, May 26th, head to North Brunswick Community Park for a run or walk around this scenic tract of Middlesex County outdoors. A beautiful and active way to spend this year’s Memorial Day, the 35th annual North Brunswick 5K run is also a great opportunity to kick off the competition for the Brunswick Cup.
The Brunswick Cup invites participants of all levels and abilities to take part in a series of four 5K events from May through November throughout the Brunswicks. All those who participate in three out of the four runs will be given a commemorative pint glass at the final race in South Brunswick, while the top three runners in each category will be awarded trophies. The next three runs will take place on September 1st in New Brunswick, October 13th in East Brunswick, and November 3rd in South Brunswick. Sign up today to make sure to get in on the fun.
Immediately following the Memorial Day 5K in North Brunswick, runners and other guests are invited to participate in a Memorial Day Ceremony in honor of the country’s veterans.
