They come from near and far to this event in Community Park and for good reason; The North Brunswick Humane Association (a 501C3 non-profit organization) really cares about educating and guiding our community about the humane treatment of animals.
North Brunswick residents at North Brunswick Manor, Mae Brook at Renaissance, Renaissance Terrace, Renaissance Manor and The Glen at Renaissance who may be considering adopting a four legged friend (or just want to have a great day with their own dog!) would do well to attend THE NORTH BRUNSWICK 2OTH ANNUAL DOG WALK & ADOPTION DAY event on 9/22 @11am-3pm (rain date 9/29).
“Save a Life with Every Step” reflects the organizers aspirations for this community centered event and to that end you’ll not only find adoptable dogs from nearby rescues and shelters but also supporters of every stripe participating in wide range of fun events. You’ll mix with your fellow dog lovers and friends to enjoy food, beverages, music, prizes and great games.
Please bring any brand pet food (bagged, canned, boxed, pouched, tubed) to a special collection area on the day of the walk-a-thon. These items will be donated to the Community Pet Food Bank run by New Beginnings Animal Rescue in partnership with Raritan Valley YMCA. The Community Pet Food Bank serves Middlesex County resident pet owners in financial difficulties with supplemental food so they may keep their beloved pets.
