On February 5th, there are sure to be a few more happy faces in New Jersey. The New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA) is having its seventh annual “Give Kids a Smile!” Day, offering free dental services to children aged 12 and under.
Headquartered in North Brunswick, the NJDA links almost 5000 dental practitioners in the state of New Jersey. Since 2003, Give Kids a Smile! Day has been a way for members of the NJDA to give back to their communities, ensuring that all New Jersey children receive quality dental care. With many families facing increasingly tight financial situations, Give Kids a Smile! Day is one way that parents can try to control healthcare costs for their families. Dental services provided range from preventative to emergency, including both screenings and involved procedures. Children also receive lessons on proper home care, including flossing and correct brushing.
Participating locations include Middlesex County College in Edison, Menendez Health Center in Perth Amboy, and JFK Medical Center in Edison. Services are by appointment only, so be sure to get in touch with a participating location today.
*Many BestRentNJ.com communities are located near participating centers. Check the NJDA [http://www.njda.org/GKAS/docs/SiteLocations-2010.pdf] website for information on a location near you.*
