In addition, the borough is home to the Florham Park Environmental Commission, working hard to cultivate and create open, green spaces within the community. This means restoration projects, plantings, pocket parks, and more. Since 1999, this community organization has worked to make recommendations to local government, plan for and inform the public about environmental initiatives, and help Florham Park as a whole become an ever-better steward of the land. Through these initiatives, Florham Park continues to thrive as a healthy, vibrant green community.
