In the weeks since Hurricane Sandy swept through New Jersey, Garden State residents have come together to recover, rebuild and renew. Now, many people are back to work, utilities are up and running, and transportation is, slowly but surely, returning to normal.

Gas station locations throughout the state had implemented a simple system to help ease long lines in the immediate aftermath of the storm. Starting Tuesday, November 13th, even-and-odd gas rationing is over, marking a smooth transition through the temporary shortages as we get back to standard supplies of fuel.

Addtitionally, NJTransit is offering modified service along the Northeast Corridor Line, servicing residents of BestRentNJ.com rental apartments throughout Middlesex County. Effective Monday, November 12th, the train line will be offering a limited schedule into and out of New York City from Trenton.

Across the entire NJTransit system, cross honoring for November monthly passes and tickets is in effect for NJT Bus, Rail and Light Rail until further notice.

Residents in BestRentNJ.com rental homes returned to full power within a couple days of the storm; we’re working hard to make sure that living in one of our residences is comfortable and smooth. Please notify our call center if you experience any issues in your home, storm-related or otherwise. Our call center is open M-F 8am-5pm for residents. If you call after hours, please leave a message and somebody will get back to you during the next business day.
