This summer, theatergoers in Edison Township get to travel through time and place: from New York City in the 1950s to Cambridge, MA in the early 2000s to depression-era London. That’s because this season of the annual Middlesex County series Plays-in-the-Park features productions of musicals ranging far and wide.

An outdoor summer theater series that’s been a township tradition for the past 50+ years, Plays-in-the-Park features outdoor performances of theatrical favorites. This year has already featured productions of Legally Blonde and West Side Story, and, next month, audiences can look forward to Mary Poppins, coming to the stage from August 2nd through 12th. For more information on upcoming shows or to purchase tickets, visit the Plays-in-the-Park website.

Plays-in-the-Park offers sign language interpretation, audio description and open captioning during select performances. You can learn more about accessibility information for Plays-in-the-Park here.
