This month, the sounds of the holidays will ring across Metuchen. On November 28th, the 57th Annual Winter Festival Parade is coming to town. Crowds of people are expected to join together on Main Street to celebrate this year’s theme, “Sounds of the Season.”

Administered by the Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce, the Annual Winter Festival Parade is an opportunity for different community groups to show the township who they are and what they do-all while getting into the spirit of the holiday season. Decorated floats will flow down Main Street, while local musical groups including the Metuchen High School Marching Band, the Banjo Rascals and Fred Lehotay’s Ragtime Band bring dancing to the streets.

Small yet vibrant, Metuchen is a tight-knit community in the center of Edison Township. Alongside its Annual Memorial Day Parade and Annual Country Fair, the township’s Winter Festival Parade is just one of the many longstanding traditions local residents hold dear.

Interested spectators can join in the merrymaking and watch the parade go by on Sunday, November 28th at 2pm in Downtown Metuchen, weather permitting. BestRentNJ.com rental apartments located closest to Main Street include Homestead VillageBlueberry Village and Edison Village.
