With Memorial Day quickly approaching, New Jersey residents are looking forward to long weekends, beach days and the coming summer festivities.
Throughout the Garden State, Monday, May 29th will be filled with Memorial Day Parades, bringing out local marching bands, business owners, civil servants and more to show remembrance for those who have died in service to our country. In Bloomfield, NJ, the township’s annual Memorial Day Parade will be taking place on Broad Street from 8am to 11am, honoring and remembering those we’ve lost.
As the summer continues, look forward to more opportunities to come together in community in Bloomfield, such as the town’s Independence Day Celebration, held on Foley Field starting at 5:30pm on July 4th, and offering amusements, games, rides, food and more, along with live performances, ceremonies, awards and fireworks as the evening wears on.
The summer will also offer regular Civic Band concerts, held on occasional Monday nights on the Town Green, as well as an Outdoor Summer Concert series on Tuesdays at Brookside Park, a movie night at Pulaski Park and more. For a rundown of coming events, visit the Bloomfield website.
