The WINDOWS OF UNDERSTANDING public art project was unveiled on January 18, (Martin Luther Kings Birthday) and will conclude on Sunday February 28. Windows across Metuchen, New Brunswick and Highland Park will feature artwork along with an exhibition to be hosted at the Metuchen Public Library. Organizers have curated this year’s art around the subjects of food insecurity, healing from trauma, public health, climate change and youth engagement. Installations will be on view along Church, George, and French streets in New Brunswick, as well as the RiteAid Windows on the South 4th Avenue Gallery in Highland Park.
