This weekend, Lawrence residents can get to know their neighbors a little bettter: Sunday, October 3rd marks Lawrence’s 18th annual Community Day, as local business, services and organizations come together with residents to mingle and enjoy the beauty of Lawrence’s scenic Village Park.
From 12:30pm to 4pm, attendees can learn about the many organizations servicing Lawrence, make connections with other residents, and enjoy an assortment of family-friendly entertainment. With pony- and hayrides, a recycling/magic show, a juggling performance and demonstrations by the Lawrence Police Squad, Community Day is certain to offer amusement to residents of all ages.
In addition, the 2nd annual Lawrence Township Community Foundation’s Community Day Walk, “Walk This Way,” will take place starting at 10am. The Foundation raises money for local non-profit groups supporting the larger Lawrence community.
