Although the holiday season will be over, there is still plenty of fun near your East Rutherford Apartment. Over the entire month of January, the Rutherford Public Library is hosting a list of events that’s fun for all ages!
The Knit One, Read Two knitting club and book discussion will meet Wednesday January 7th at 6:30 pm to discuss The Hunger Games. The meeting will be held in the Library Auditorium and all those who knit or crochet are welcome to join the conversation and bring their needlework. The following Monday, January 12th, the Monday Evening Book Group will meet to discuss A Summons to Memphis at 6:30 pm. Copies of the book are available at the circulation desk of the library.
Looking for fun for little ones? The Rutherford Public Library is hosting Little Cool Music School on Fridays, January 16th, 23rd, and the 30th from 11:15 to 11:45 am. Guitar Bob is scheduled to play original and classic children’s songs for dancing and fun for the whole family!
Stimulate your children’s creativity with fun arts and crafts. On Tuesday, January 16th and 3:45 pm, children between ages 3 and 5 are invited to make snowy projects with an adult companion. The following Tuesday, at 3:45pm, children six and older are invited to make winter projects at Crafty Kids. Registration is required for both events. Later, on Friday, January 30th at 3:45pm, children 5 and older are invited for a free screening of Dolphin Tales 2. An adult chaperone is required for children under the age of seven during the duration of the film.
