The fall is the best time to catch nature’s splendor: the changing color of the leaves show the trees in their full beauty, and it’s a great opportunity to spend time in the great outdoors. And on Saturday, October 5th, Jackson will be hosting the 25th Annual Fall Forestry Festival, a day filled with outdoor-themed activities for children and adults alike.

Attendees can look forward to beautiful guided hikes, hayrides, acorn planting, nature crafting and much more. The day will include nature talks, a live snake session, woodworking and maple sugaring demonstrations, along with workshops on beekeeping, forest fires, and a whole host of other nature skills.
