Carteret Waterfront Park has transformed into one of the Borough’s most beloved assets. With its picturesque gazebo, lovely waterfront view and engaging, interactive landscaping, it has become a destination for Carteret residents of all ages.
On Friday, July 3rd, Carteret Waterfront Park will be the setting for the township’s 10th annual Independence Day Celebration. Every year since 2006, thousands of residents and visitors gather by the waterfront for an event that includes rides, food, vendors, and live musical performances. The celebration will culminate with a fireworks display, set to light up the sky starting at 9:15pm.
Attendees are encouraged to use park by one of three shuttle stations, located at Carteret Public Library (100 Cooke Avenue), Civic Center Parking Lot (Pershing Avenue), and Minue School (83 Post Boulevard). Transportation will run from these stations from 6-11pm.
