With Thanksgiving behind us, the holiday season has officially begun. In Bloomfield, that means tree lighting, house decorating, city excursions and more.
On Monday, December 4th at 6:30pm, township residents are welcomes to gather at Town Hall for holiday carols sung by the town’s Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts and the Bloomfield High School and Middle School concert choirs, as well as an appearance by Santa Claus himself. On Saturday, December 9th from 1 to 4pm, the township will hold its annual Children’s Holiday Program at the Civic Center, complete with refreshments, arts and crafts, face painting and photo ops with Santa. Throughout the season, enjoy the bright lights of the township: the holiday house decorating contest encourages residents to bring out their most creative holiday decorating ideas — lights, ornaments and all. Winners will be announced December 22nd.
