Haunted house? Been there, done that. Haunted woods? Now that’s material for some halloween fright. This fall, Old Bridge is hosting its annual Haunted Woods — a fun and scare-filled walk through the township woods.
For the last two weeks of October, the woods are transformed by lights, sounds, displays, and people hiding in its depths. Visitors are invited to come by to take it all in from 7-10pm on October 23rd-25th and 30th. For those looking for a less-eerie halloween adventure, the Haunted Woods will be open for twilight viewings Saturday and Sunday from 3:30-6pm, though live actors will not be present.
The price of entry is a food donation to the Old Bridge Food Bank. Food donations have been down this year, so visitors are encouraged to bring a little extra. Hot drinks — including cider, hot chocolate and coffee — will be available for sale at the end of the walk.
