A major clubhouse and pool are now under construction at Harbortown, on Perth Amboy’s waterfront. The Clubhouse will have large windows facing a beautiful, long pond, and is expected to open in June 2013. The building will contain a multi-purpose room, gym, arcade, internet room, children’s room, and cabana for the adjacent pool.
The huge multi-purpose room, 1,260 square feet, will be rentable by Harbortown residents for private parties. Sports events and political debates will be shown on a very large screen TV, and regular yoga classes will be offered. The room will have great views of the pool and pond. Seating capacity is expected to be around 30 people.
The large gym, 1,180 square feet, will contain a variety of new aerobic and weight equipment. The treadmills will have a direct view of the pond.
The arcade will be 600 square feet and include items like pinball, ping pong, skee-ball, and mini-basketball.
The 70’ by 30’ pool will be a terrific place to cool off and to do long laps. The pool will offer a great view of the pond, and, on nice days, will have sun from 9AM to 7 PM.
Harbortown’s sales and leasing center will also move into the building, offering much improved comfort and information about living in Harbortown inclduing Harbortown Heights, Harbortown Terrace and Harbortown Ports.
