This week might feel like summer’s back in full swing, but the red, yellow and brown leaves remind us that it is, indeed, autumn — and that means that Halloween is right around the corner. In Secaucus, the last two weeks of the month will be filled with seasonal events to get residents of all ages into the spirit of the holiday.
On Friday, October 21st, residents are invited to Schmidt’s Woods for a haunted trail, not-so-haunted house, petting zoo, hayrides and more, while Sunday, October 23rd, the Annual Ragamuffin Parade will gives the township’s furriest friends a chance to show off their Halloween best at Buchmuller Park. Also at Buchmuller Park will be “A Night of Mischief,” an evening for middle schoolers to let off some steam in a friendly and safe environment, taking place October 30th. On Halloween Day, look forward to Trunk or Treat: residents are invited to park their cars, open their trunks and fill them up with goodies of all kinds — all before the trick or treating begins.
In Secaucus, Halloween is an extended affair. Start planning your costume and start getting into the Halloween spirit!
