As the season of spookiness gets underway, towns across the state are getting into the witchy and ghoulish spirit of things. In Secaucus, NJ, look forward to a week of Halloween events in the lead up to the big night.

Friday, October 26th marks Spooky Friday, a night of a haunted trail, not-so-haunted house, hayrides, petting zoo and more, open to residents starting at 5:30pm at Schmidt’s Woods, located on Milridge Road. That night also brings the 8th Annual Secaucus Animal Shelter Halloween Costume Dinner Dance, located at La Reggia Restaurant and raising funds for the shelter.

Saturday, October 27th will bring Haunted High School and the ICC Halloween Costume Ball, while Sunday marks the Annual Ragamuffin Parade, an adorable procession of the cutest pups and kittens in town dressed up in their Halloween best. From there, Mischief Night will be held for middle schoolers on October 30th, while October 31st brings a night of costumes, eeriness and, of course, candy.

This year in Secaucus, the Halloween fun lasts the whole week. Happy trick or treating!
