When summer hits Woodbridge, the music doesn’t stop. Starting at the end of June, Woodbridge features free outdoor concerts every night from Sunday through Thursday and every other Friday that are sure to satisfy a range of musical appetites.
The fun kicked off this past Friday with The Dalton Gang, performing at Frank Pelzman Park in Avenel as part Second Friday Jazz. More regularly-scheduled programming starts on June 23rd, with a Local Band Thursday performance by The Saloonatics at 7:30pm at Tazman Park. Next, look forward to Christian Lopez Band, coming to Parker Press Park on June 26th at 6pm as the kickoff to Country Sunday. From there, enjoy sounds by The Duprees on June 27th for Monday Oldies and The B-Street Band on June 28th as the launch of Tuesday Tribute Bands. Monday and Tuesday performances will be held at the Woodbridge High School lawn.
The rest of the summer includes even more rocking, crooning and soulful performances — check out the calendar here to see what’s in store. With Country Sundays, Oldies Mondays, Classic Rock Tuesdays, Woodbridge Wednesdays, Local Band Thursdays and Second Friday Jazz, you’re sure to find something that suits your style.
