As home to one of Morris County’s most beloved and oldest traditions, Florham Park stands proudly. For 54 years, the borough’s annual Fourth of July celebration has offered parades, games, fireworks and more, all while bringing community spirit and cheer to great heights. This year’s festivities will begin on Monday morning with a flag raising ceremony at the Brooklake Road firehouse-and from there, the fun will continue well into the evening.
At 9:30am, head to the corner of Brooklake and Ridgedale for a parade featuring floats, community groups and civic organizations. Following the parade, events will lead right into a family picnic, held at the Borough Hall Lawn. Look forward to a Velcro wall, water slides, medieval jousting, an obstacle course and more. Plus, with pony rides and a petting zoo, there’s sure to be something to keep guests of all ages entertained. For the over-21 crowd, the Social Garden will be the place to be-featuring a Mariachi band and DJ, this year’s event is destined to be a crowd-pleaser.
The day will come to its epic conclusion with a show-stopping fireworks display. Get to Emmet Field by 9pm for the best views.
This year’s events will be held at varying locations throughout Florham Park. For more information, visit the borough website. Florham Park is home to BestRentNJ.com’s rental apartments at Sun Valley.
