For over 35 years, Flat Rock Brook Nature Center has provided an outdoor sanctuary to Englewood residents. Complete with 8 trails, a picnic and playground area, and numerous gardens, Flat Rock Brook is home to a great diversity of plants and wildlife, and is an ideal place for visitors to connect with nature.
Each season, Flat Rock Brook offers a range of programming and activities. In the coming months, participants can learn survival skills at Survival in the Wild, connect with a parent or child during Take Mom For a Hike! on Mother’s Day, or watch majestic birds soar overhead during Spring Bird Walks. Additionally, summer’s approach will bring Flat Rock Brook’s annual Summer Nature Day Camp, offering outdoor education and fun to children pre-K through 7th grade.
