Edison Township’s annual Fall Family Spectacular Street Fair & Festival is a beloved township tradition, bringing residents and visitors young and old together to celebrate the town and all it has to offer.
This year’s festival will see part of Amboy Avenue transform into one big block party, complete with live entertainment including bands, karate demonstrations, dancers and other performers. For those who like to shop, local merchants will be offering sales and showcasing their wares, plus one-of-a-kind handcrafted work, bargain merchandise and more. The day will also include pony rides, a climbing wall, a petting zoo, face painting, mechanical rides, sand art, temporary tattoos — appealing to attendees of all ages and tastes.
And speaking of tastes, the festival will offer open air cafes and street food including hot dogs and chicken fingers, along with shish kabobs, cheesesteaks, roasted corn, fresh squeezed lemonade and more.
In previous years, the festival has been held in Lake Papaianni Park. This year — for the second year in a row — the Fall Family Spectacular will be held in the Clara Barton section of Edison, NJ on Amboy Avenue.
