As a way of celebrating Scottish and Celtic culture, “Highland Games” are an activity held every spring and summer in Scotland and in countries with a large Scottish diaspora.
Hear ye, hear ye – the Highland Games have arrived to our shores again and welcomes all!
Ewing Township residents at Ewing Town Center, River Links and Delaware Heights can come as they are or festooned in kilt or costume to celebrate the New Jersey Renaissance Faire Highland Games 2023 touted by it’s organizers as “the only one of its kind in New Jersey.” Held at nearby Burlington Fairgrounds, you’ll enjoy this family and dog friendly event – great for singles and couples too – on June 10th & 11th from 10am – 6pm.
Commemorating the heritage and culture of Scotland, Ireland, Wales and Celtic nations, the Highland Games is a fun-filled outdoor event with entertainment, Irish dancing, music, food, drink, sports competitions and much more! Feast on local gourmet food, local craft beers and wines.
Single day tickets are $20 for adults, $7.50 for children 5-12 years old and $7.50 for dog passes. Weekend passes and Whiskey Tastings are also available and there is both free + VIP parking available, with trolley service to and from the parking lot.
