Field Station’s 20 acres of excitement feature woods, pathways, and mountain trails that have been meticulously curated by scientist to ensure accuracy. The attraction features an amphitheater where you’ll start your day at the morning briefing. In addition, the amphitheater hosts various shows throughout the day including a dinosaur dance party, a dinosaur beauty pageant, and the T-Rex games!
At Field Station: Dinosaurs, you’ll learn about the history of the dinosaurs through interactive games and hands-on activities. At the North Tent, you’ll help researchers collect clues to figure out what actually happened to the dinosaurs. At the Fossil Dig Site, your kids can find actual New Jersey fossils and learn what it’s like in the day in the life of a paleontologist. For an additional fee, you can visit the Paleontologist’s Laboratory to discover more fossils that you can even take home in a souvenir pouch.
